Introduction

In November 2023, our team has brought an update to internal management software (Agent CRM), called "Create Social Post" feature. This new launch assist Sale Agents in the early stages of customer engagement by allows users to effortlessly craft selling posts using pre-entered data. Moreover, agents can easily share these posts with customers via messaging apps or directly post them on social media platforms

One of the daily tasks of the real estate sales is to promote their property listings on social media to attract potential customers. Crafting a selling post involves compiling both information and images, which are typically stored across various apps such as Note, Excel, and Photo Library. They usually spend a quite amount of time to collect and double-check the details meticulously before hitting the "Post" button. This leading to the limitation of time in finding and taking care of customers, ultimately impacting their efficiency in closing sales and potentially reducing revenue for the business in the long run

In our company, the Product Manager typically collaborates closely with the Sales team to gather their feedback and requirements. For this project, our PM, Ms. Hanh, conducted 1:1 interviews with five Sales Agents regarding their daily tasks, then narrowed down the focus to their social media activities. For each property added to CRM for management, the system will generate ready-made post based on suitable templates. Users just need to select the listing, then share or edit content as desired.

  • The templates have both general models for all real estate and specific templates optimized for each type. Users can mark their preferred pattern as default, and following listings will be generated according to this version.

After go live, we run a quick meeting with Sale Team (Manager level) to introduce new feature and collect their feedbacks. Then we spent 2 weeks to follow importance metrics on Internal Data tracking tool and here the result:

"Create social post" is a feature within module LISTING, so, beside observing datas specific to this feature, we also follow the metrics of module LISTING to evaluate the impact of the child funtion on the usage of the parent module.

  1. Users are not allowed to access the posts they created previously and have to generate a new one if they want to introduce property on social media

  2. Sale members in a team usually share listings to quickly close deal, so each member need to create many posts for same property

  3. Users can't follow up the posts they created and have no idea about which property should be promoted more

  4. Each seller has their own technique to create attractive contents, using system-made templates might limit their creativity

  1. Save completed posts after creation, have a storage area for management with each property having from one to severals

  2. Share posts internally among sales team members to post on their community or send to their own customers.

  3. Statistically track the number of sent posts of each listing, ensuring all property have been introduced to the customer

  4. Allow users to create new or edit templates.
